MOUNT CHEAM LIONS HALL

 

The Mount Cheam Lions hall is situated at 45580 Spadina Avenue, Chilliwack, B.C. right behind Evergreen Hall.  There is plenty of parking in front of the hall.  The hall is owned by the City of Chilliwack and is managed under a management agreement by the Mount Cheam Lions.  The City maintains the outside of the building and the Lions maintain the inside, rent out the building for events, pay for the upkeep and utilities and the balance of the proceeds go back into the Community to help the less fortunate.

The hall has a floor space of 2,800 sq. feet and a rated capacity of 155 persons, however there are chairs for 135 and 28 tables.  There is a basic kitchen with 2 electric ranges  and one fridge.  No dishes or other utensils are available; but there is one 100 cup coffee urn, one small household type coffee pot and a small microwave oven.  As with all public buildings this hall is a non-smoking area and is comfortable for a party or wedding dance of approximately 90 to 100 people.

 

The hall is used daily by the Senior Resources Society Time Out group Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM.  The hall is well used on evenings and weekends so please book well ahead or you may be disappointed.
